Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro High-Frequency Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Smartphone

The launch of the gaming monitors came on the heels of the announcement of the release of the Red Magic 8S Pro which looks like it could be a monster Android gaming phone, if there is such a thing. This new device will mark the first time the high-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is being used. In the Chinese press, the Red Magic 8S Pro is has scored 1,704,113 points on the AnTuTu benchmark and is the top performer among all Android phones tested.

The Red Magic 8S Pro’s use of the high-frequency variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which was previously exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, makes Nubia the first Chinese manufacturer to launch a phone with this processor. The Gen 2 clocks in at 3.36 GHz compared to the standard version’s 3.2GHz. The GPU frequency has also been increased from 680 MHz to 719 MHz, enhancing the device’s overall performance.

Maybe as a result, Red Magic 8S Pro incorporates an active cooling fan and has undergone several high-performance adjustments and optimizations. In addition to its impressive processing capabilities, the Red Magic 8S Pro distinguishes itself as one of the few smartphones to feature an under-screen camera this year.
