Enhancing BenQ’s LED projector range is the new GP30, a bright and portable model for business travellers and in the home.

Because it uses a solid state light source (900 lumens), the GP30 can switch on and off instantly. It can be moved quickly, weighing just 1.5kg and measuring 220 x 177 x 62mm. An Auto Blank feature cuts off the projected light if movement is detected within 20 – 30cm of the lens, to protect users’ eyes.

As a short-throw model, the GP30 has a 1.2:1 throw ratio and can project a 20″ – 240″ image. +/-40 deg keystone adjustment is built in. It shows 10-bit colour and covers 100% of the NTSC gamut. Resolution is 1280 x 800. Featured ports are MHL-HDMI, composite, VGA, USB and USB-B. There are also two 3W speakers.

BenQ is selling the GP30 now, for €655 ex VAT.
