United Airlines has a real-time digital data OOH campaign in New York with taxicab toppers that gives comparison times to get to JFK airport and to Newark airport, so that taxi customers know which is quicker to get to.
The United agency has fitted 125 display “toppers” to New York City taxis equipped with GPS software to show the comparison. The system works with Verifone Media and Kinetic and analyses over 45,000 data points in keys areas within New York City.
