The adaptive refresh rate in the latest Samsung Display OLEDs, used in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, has been widely analysed and commented on. In a press release, Samsung Display also said that the display uses what it calls ‘Super Touch’ technology to boost touch sampling to 240Hz, improving the interactive experience and between them reducing the input time by 30%.
What We Think
There’s no doubt that the power savings from adaptive refresh rate are more significant, but it’s good to see improvements in touch input. (BR)
