New Roku Streaming Stick 4K supports HDR10+ & Dolby Vision

Roku has upgraded its streaming sticks with support for HDR10, HDR10 and Dolby Vision as well as a faster CPU and better Wi-Fi. The Roku Streaming Stick 4K and Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ (which is available in the US and includes a remote control with voice control). The 4K costs $50 and the 4K+ costs $70.

The Roku Ultra LT ($79.99), built for Walmart exclusively, has also been refreshed with a faster processor, more storage, a new Wi-Fi radio with up to 50% longer range, support for Dolby Vision, Bluetooth audio streaming and a built-in ethernet port.

Roku also announced V10.5 of its OS which adds the free Roku channels to the front screen and adds a feature to synchronise wireless headphones to the TV. There are also improvements to the voice control.

What We Think

It might be time to think about updating my Roku stick. (BR)
