Audi’s new e-tron EV crossover concept car features 7″ OLED virtual side mirrors connected to external cameras, in place of conventional wing mirrors. The car maker says that the system features adjustable zoom and varying levels of zoom, plus three specially optimised viewing modes for motorway driving, turning and parking.
The car is currently scheduled for launch in select markets, including Germany, in 2020. In the US, Audi is still in talks with authorities, as the tech hasn’t yet been legalised in the country.
