While we were at IFA we missed the news that the company that claims to be “China’s leading manufacturer of flat-panel displays”, KTC, has teamed up with Germany’s NetRange to bring its Smart TV solution to KTC devices running on Android and Linux platforms in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
KTC’s 58″ Smart Android TV launched earlier this year.
NetRange’s Smart TV Portal provides live TV, video-on-demand, catch-up TV, music, sports, news and games, among other services, in over 60 languages.
The company is partnered with over 100 global brands including Vodafone, Grundig, Arcelik, TCL, Skyworth, Sharp, Loewe, Changhong, Ikea, MSH, Thomson and HD+.
