Netflix has already broken into the UltraHD market. Now, in an interview with Digital Trends, CPO Neil Hunt has said that the company’s next focus is HDR. All of the company’s original content is now being filmed with HDR-capable cameras. He anticipates that 5% of content will be available in HDR within a year, and 20% by 2019. Hunt said that Netflix will certify some Dolby Vision TVs “very soon”, and some HDR 10 TVs “in a month or two”.
