Most Netflix Customers Still American

In the announcement of its Q1’16 finance results, Netflix has revealed that its global customer base more than 6.7 million YoY. The firm now has almost 47 million customers in the USA and 34.5 million internationally, meaning that 42% of Netflix subscribers are now outside the US. In the next quarter, the company expects to add around 2 million subscribers – blaming the cost of international expansion for the drop in growth.
