Sigmaintell Research has released its pricing trend forecast for mobile and tablet display panels in May 2018. The report shows that full-screen panel demand is growing, while non-full-screen demand is shrinking fast. Analysts also say that the development of the full screen has accelerated the growth of touch display driver integration.
The report goes on to say that the tablet market declined, as it has for several consecutive quarters. However, the amount of negative growth has narrowed, which indicates the market is beginning to stabilise. The price of tablet panels in May was the same as it was in April.
