Forbes claims that Microsoft is preparing to launch a smartwatch, which could be available ‘within the next few weeks’.
Sources close to the project have told Forbes that the watch will track heartrate and work across mobile platforms. Battery life will be more than two days. Forbes published an article in May (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 23) with very similar claims, also saying that the watch would have a full-colour touch screen ‘about the size of half a stick of gum’.
