MediaTek has announced via its official blog that Helio processors are featured in Meizu’s new range of smartphones and details have changed since our previous report (Meizu Phone Has Dual Displays)
The Meizu Pro 7 is powered by the Helio P25, while the larger Pro 7 Plus uses the more powerful Helio X30, making it the first smartphone to feature the chipset, MediaTek says.
The Pro 7 has a 5.2″ 1920 x 1080 Super AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Pro 7 Plus, with its larger 5.7″ screen, has its resolution boosted to 2560 x 1440 (518 ppi)
Both devices feature a 1.9-inch AMOLED touch screen with 240 x 536 on their rear side, which can be customised to show notifications, widgets, or even a preview of the phone’s rear camera.
The new phones incorporate two Sony IMX386 12-megapixel cameras on the rear side and have one 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
