At the Radiodays Europe 2016 conference in Paris, LG said that the Stylus 2 smartphone (LG Differentiates With Friends) will feature a DAB+ radio – the world’s first smartphone to do so. DAB+ can be used to access more radio channels and by broadcasters to create tailored apps.
Chinese company Meizu used MWC 2016 as the global launch platform for its Pro 5 smartphone (Meizu Uses AMOLED in Pro 5), which runs Ubuntu.
Samsung‘s TabPro S is now available in the UK. The 12″ hybrid, which has an OLED display, costs £680 ($975) ex VAT.
