The MagSafe connector will be re-introduced with a new version. The notebooks will be based on the M1 processor and.
What We Think
I thought the MagSafe connector was a gimmick until I tripped over the power cord on my notebook in a hotel room during a business trip and broke the LCD. The idea of adding a secondary display for virtual keys has a long history and I remember the Apricot Xi in 1983. On the face of it, the additional screen should be useful, but one of the downsides is that it can add cost, so is unlikely to be universal. If it’s not universal, it’s less worthwhile for app makers to support the technology. (BR)
