Lower Partner Orders Expected From Sony

Industry sources in Taiwan expect Sony to lower its TV and smartphone orders to production partners in Taiwan. The prediction comes following continued low sales of these products. According to the sources, Sony has placed ‘almost no orders’ with Foxconn for the first half of 2015, compared to the ‘several million’ orders placed in previous orders. Orders to TPK are expected to reach 2 million units at most this year.
