Several companies worked together at the CommunicAsia 2016 show, to deliver live HDR UltraHD TV over satellite. The demonstration took place on MEASAT’s stand. It used HEVC-encoded content at 50fps, with 10-bit colour, broadcast on the DVB-S2X platform at 25Mbps. Ateme, BBright, Mstar Semiconductor and Newtec all worked on the project.
