LG is expanding its webOS smart TV platform with LG Channel Plus and DAZN both coming to Canadian users of its 2017 line of Ultra HD smart TVs.
Powered by Xumo, Channel Plus is an integrated streaming service that features 54 different OTT streams alongside broadcast channels, delivering both live and on-demand content. Channel Plus came out in the US last year, and is now available in Canada. Channel Plus features Mic, Funny or Die, TMZ, The New Yorker and NatureVisionTV.
Also coming to Canadian LG 2017 UHD smart TVs is DAZN, which delivers coverage of over 8,000 sporting events each year. DAZN initially launched in Austria, Germany, Japan, and Switzerland, last August.
