LetsGoDigital has produced some CAD renders of an LG rollable smartphone concept that was outlined by LG Electronics in a patent application for a smartphone using a rollable display. The device slides out from a regular smartphone shape to a wider format, with both edges rolling out to double the width. Alternatively, just one side can be rolled out.
The site quotes another site as identifying the design as ‘Project B’ and suggesting a launch in March 2021.
