It’s not just the Apple Watch that could set you back the price of a second-hand car. LG has also now entered the premium smartwatch space, with a 23-carat gold version called the LG Watch Urbane Luxe. The limited edition model (only 500 units are being made) shares specifications with the regular Urbane – aside from the looks and price. The new version costs $1,200.

That’ll be a very vulnerable watch! Owners are going to want to be careful with this one: pure gold is very soft and scratches easily. (TA)
