LG Electronics has launched a new medical monitor that the company claims significantly improves performance and usability compared to existing clinical products. The 24HR513C monitor has a brightness of 600cd/m2, and can be used for both clinical and diagnostic purposes. LG Electronics now offer 11 models spanning clinical, diagnostic and surgical applications.
The 24HR513C is equipped, in line with other medical monitors from LG, with an integrated calibration sensor and LG’s calibration software. In addition, the monitor provides specialized imaging modes like Focus View and Pathology Mode previously only seen in diagnostic monitors. It also supports ergonomic viewing with a stand enabling two-way auto pivot. It’s a middle of the pack addition to the LG’s line of products that fills a gap between 21-inch and 34-inch models.
