LG Display has said that it will build an OLED display module assembly plant in Vietnam. The plant, in Hai Phong, will begin production in the second half of 2017. Although LGD did not share the scale of the investment, Vietnamese authorities gave the figure as $1.5 billion. Construction will begin in May.
