The ETNews in Korea reports that LG Electronics is supplying an ‘Around View Monitor’ (AVM) to Geely, a Chinese auto make, the first time that LG has supplied a Chinese maker according to the report. The system uses multiple cameras around the vehicle to create an all around view. The item will be offered as a ‘luxury option’. Geely is reported to have strong growth and the report says that Geely may double its car production this year after boosting sales by 50% in 2016. The firm owns the Volvo brand.
