The Korea Times reported that LG Display plans to make an additional investment of $750 million in its plant in Vietnam, which would bring its investment to a total of $3.25 million. It would take on 5,000 additional staff, the report said, to make more OLED modules.
What We Think
Although China might make more sense from a supply chain point of view, Vietnam is often a better location these days because of the trade tension between the US and China.
