The ET News in Korea said that at CES LG Display is to demonstrate multi-channel sound using its Crystal Sound OLED (CSO) and will support four channel stereo or 5.1 sound, up from the current two channel stereo technology. The company claims to have around 40 patents relating to the development.

One of the key factors is the need to avoid interference between the different channels – the more channels, the more the issue is likely to be a problem. (BR)
