LG Display has unveiled its new 27-inch 480Hz QHD Gaming OLED display. The display, slated to launch in the first half of 2024, uses LG’s proprietary OLED technology to achieve a remarkable 480 frames per second refresh rate at 1440p resolution.
LG is also claiming 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. and that the 480Hz gaming monitor also outputs significantly less potentially harmful blue light compared to standard LCD displays – almost 50% less according to LG’s measurements, reducing eye strain.
In addition to the 27-inch model, LG Display is showcasing its full 2024 lineup of OLED gaming displays at CES 2024, ranging from 27-inches up to 45-inches in size. Ultra-wide 21:9 options at 34 and 39-inches provide an immersive panoramic gaming landscape. A 31.5-inch UHD 4K panel caters to gamers who also want to use their display for productivity and media streaming.
