LG has announced that it will formally unveil its premium LG G7 ThinQ smartphone on May 2nd in New York City, United States and May 3rd in Seoul, South Korea. The company will host media events to introduce the device. This will be the first G series smartphone to adopt the ThinQ name, created to identify all of LG’s consumer electronics, home appliances and services that use artificial intelligence.
The LG G7 ThinQ is an evolution of the foundationlaid by the LG V30S ThinQ, the first LG smartphone to embrace AI as part of its core features. TheV30 incorporates AI technology that enhances features including voice recognition and photography. The G7 is said to offer improved interconnectivity with other LG devices.
While we don’t have any hardware specifications for the G7, details of the next entry in the V-series, the V35 ThinQ, have emerged. The device will feature a 6″ QHD+ OLED display, a 16-megapixel dual-sensor rear camera with a glass lens, f/1.6 aperture and 10-bit HDR compatibility, plus a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 107° field of view.
