Lenovo Starts to Ship OLEDs

Lenovo has started to ship the ThinkPad X1 Yoga with the 2560 x 1440 14″ OLED display that was shown at the CES Show in January. There are two versions, one with a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6600U processor and with 16 GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. The graphics processor is a 128MB Intel GPU and has Wi-Fi with 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.0. A second version uses a Core i5 processor and has reduced memory and SSD, but the same display.

Analyst Comment

I’ve just ordered a new PC and did, briefly, think about an OLED, the displays looked great when I saw them at CES. However, the battery life is shorter at the moment and battery life is a critical point for me.(BR)
