What They Say
Lenovo has shown the ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 which has a 17.3″ 120Hz 21:10 aspect ratio panel with 3072 x 1440 resolution as the main display but also a secondary ‘tablet display’ next to the keyboard that supports touch and can be used to be a secondary display or a zoom window on the main one. It can be operated with a stylus (although a reviewer pointed out that it wouldn’t work well for the left-handed).
The start price for the notebook is $1,399
What We Think
Well, my calculation makes the aspect ratio 21.33:10 with a ppi of 196 – the same as a 15″ 2560 x 1440 format display. Up to now, dual display devices have been more expensive than this, so it will be interesting to see if it gets a bit more volume than, for example, Asus has. (BR)
