Lenovo plans to show a new UltraHD monitor at CES. The ThinkVision P32u monitor has Thunderbolt 3 and includes a TB3 output to allow daisy-chaining of devices and charging/power supply. There are also DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 ports. Specification of the IPS device is 300 cd/m² of output with 1,000:1 contrast and 6ms GtG response time. Colour coverage is 99.5% of AdobeRGB and 100% of sRGB.

There is also a very thin ThinkVision X24 monitor which is 4mm thick with 1.1mm bezels on the top and sides. The FullHD UPS panel has 250cd/m² of output and there are HDMI1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors. The X24 will ship in January at a list price of $249.
The ThinkVision X24 has slim side and top bezels.
The company is also updating its ThinkPad line in the X, T and L series up to go up to 8th Generation Intel Core CPUs while the units are lighter and slimmer than their predecessors. Other features include rapid charging to 80% within an hour and improved battery life. The L480 and L580 now have AMD graphics options and there is a new mechanical side dock and USB-C power adaptors. The T480S has an Nvidia M150 GPU option, which was promised, but didn’t arrive on the T460S and was never an option on the T470S. Other features include a ‘ThinkShutter’ camera blocker.
On the display side of the new notebook range, the T480 will have the 2560 x 1440 option that was previously not available on the T470.
