Bigger is better, as they say in the USA – and the owners of the Tannery Row Ale House in Buford, Georgia appear to have taken it to heart. The recently-installed digital display is not just any old LCD screen; the owners chose a 224″ LED display from Nanolumens, to show American football games on the ‘biggest, brightest and clearest’ display in town. It is part of the Nanoslim line, measuring 5.2m x 3.4m, with a 6mm pixel pitch.

Use of LEDs indoors is unusual, as they are best viewed from a distance to create a seamless image. People at the back of the bar will appreciate it, we suppose – though they might need to wear sunglasses. (TA)
