Gaming specialist, Micro-Star International (MSI), has released a new ‘backpack’ PC for VR. The unit was developed with HTC to use with the Vive and was due to be shown at the Tokyo Game Show as we went to press.
ViewSonic will soon start shipping the XG2703-GS Gaming Monitor that it showed earlier this year at CES. (Digital Experience Has Lots to See) The 27″ monitor has G-Sync and 2560 x 1440 resolution with an IPS panel that will run at up to 165Hz. 4ms response time helps the gaming and there are 6 axis colour settings for different applications, operated by a Game Mode hotkey. Features include dual speakers and the monitor will cost $913 when it starts shipping next month.
