LDM Product Roundup Vol 23 No 04

The X754HB, a 75″ high-brightness (2,500 cd/m²) display from NEC, has been released. We first saw this product at the NEC Showcase last May (NEC Impresses with LEDs).

In addition, NEC has upgraded its PA322UHD monitor. The PA322UHD-2 is identical to the original, but features an OPS slot – a switchable DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 module is pre-installed. The monitor will be available in February, starting at $3,000.

Newertech‘s HDMI Headless Video Accelerator (Adaptor Fools a Mac to Work Headlessly) is now being shipped. The product sold out ‘immediately’ after its announcement last year, and orders are now being fulfilled.

Two 80″ displays have been added to Sharp‘s digital signage ranges. The PN-H801 (Sharp Shows 120″ and 8K 60″ Display) has 440 cd/m² of brightness, a 4,000:1 contrast ratio and UltraHD resolution. It is rated for 24/7 use. The other display is an addition to the PN-E series (Sharp Slims Large Displays), called the PN-E803. The PN-E model is available now; the PN-H will be available later this month.
