Kyocera reported Q3 net profit of $72 million, down 71.3% YoY from $250.5 million. Turnover was reported at $3 billion, down 4.4% YoY from $3.2 billion. For the nine month period ended Dec 31, 2015, net profit was $492 million, down just under 20% YoY from $611 million. Turnover for the same period was flat at $9 billion, down less than 1% YoY. Solar panel sales drove down financials, in spite of an increase in smartphone component sales.
