Acer‘s Predator Z35 curved gaming monitor (Acer Widens Gaming Monitor Line-Up) is now available in the USA.

LG‘s newest OLED TVs have been lowered in price by $200 on Amazon. The 55″ and 65″ EG9600 are now available for $4,800 and $1,700, respectively.

The Planea TVs from Metz, which we saw at IFA 2015 (Metz Replaces Loewe, Adds UltraHD), are now available in Germany. The 43″, 49″ and 55″ models are UltraHD, but a 32″ unit with 1920 x 1080 resolution is also available. All sets feature a DVB-T/C/S2 tuner and a CI+ slot.

NEC will launch its 75″ X754HB display (NEC Impresses with LEDs) in the USA this month, for $11,300.

Germany’s Orion has retrofitted its latest 22″ – 50″ TVs with DVB-T2 tuners. The move has been taken in preparation for the country’s move to the T2 standard in Q2’16.

Chinese website Tech.163 claims that Skyworth has launched 55″ and 65″ HDR-enabled UltraHD OLED TVs in the country. They cost CNY12,450 ($1,920) and CNY20,750 ($3,200), respectively; Skyworth apparently hopes to lower these prices to around a 30% premium over LCD sets, from the current 50% premium, next year.

In the same article, Skyworth VP Liu Tong Chi said that the company hopes to sell 30,000 OLED TVs by the end of its fiscal year in March, and 200,000 by March 2017. He added that Skyworth is currently struggling to source enough OLED TV panels from LG Display to maintain supply.
