The Data Display Group now holds samples of AUO‘s P550HVN04.2, which was announced last year. The unit consists of two 55″ displays in a single 19.6mm-thick housing. The displays can show the same or different content. They have 1920 x 1080 resolution, 700 cd/m² of brightness and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.
A price has been shared for BenQ‘s XL2730Z gaming monitor (BenQ Begins Freesync Introduction). The unit is available now for $600.
Peerless AV‘s Xtreme Outdoor Displays (42″ CL-42PLC68-OB, 47″ CL-42PLC68-OB, CL-47PLC68-OB and 55″ CL-55PLC68-OB) (High-Res and Weatherproofing at ISE) are now being shipped in EMEA. The displays are fully sealed, impact- and weather-resistant units, which means they can operate in direct sunlight.
