What They Say
Laptop Magazine had a good look at the new M2 MacBook Pro 13 notebook from Apple. It lamented that the LCD display on the unit has wide bezels but liked that it has quite high brightness (475 cd/m²) and 77.5% coverage of the P3 colour gamut, although it said that the level fell short of the ‘84% premium laptop average’. It also liked the performance especially on video processing (it transcoded a 4k video in 6′ 51″ while the XPS 13 took 18′ 22″). It also highly rated the speed of the Safari browser compared to Chrome.
What We Think
The display on the 13″ unit is an IPS unit, rather than the 14″ and 16″ units, which have the miniLED-based Liquid Retina displays. (BR)
