Kopin has received the final $15 million payment for the sale of its III-V product line, which was completed in January 2013. Kopin sold its IC business to IQE, a UK-based designer and supplier of semiconductor wafers. The proceeds of the sale, which totalled $70 million, have been put towards Kopin’s development of components for wearable devices.
