KOE, the part of JDI that covers panels for industrial use, announce a new 8.0″ TN LCD with 1280 x 768 resolution and 16:9 aspect (187ppi) that is mechanically compatible with earlier panels that had lower resolution. The brightness of the TX20D201VM2BAB is 800 cd/m² and contrast ratio us 500:1. The 20 pin LVDS interface can support 6 bit or 8 bit colour and the display has an operating and storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. The module weighs 160g and lifetime is 50K hours to half brightness.
