Kapsch Takes Signage to the Slopes

Kapsch Group has rolled out pilot DOOH projects at four ski resorts in Germany and Austria. The screens show information including lift waiting times, weather updates and local offers. In resorts where multiple screens were installed, Kapsch has linked all of its displays together into a single resort-wide network, using wireless and wired technology. The video walls, which are placed outside in rugged conditions, use Samsung SL46B and OM55D displays. Two locations (Fieberbrunn and Hochsöll) have six-screen walls, and two (Reit im Winkl and Innsbruck) have four-screen walls (two in Innsbruck). Hochsöll also has a single-screen outdoor solution.
