US-based Jumptuit has launched an app to connect iPhone and iPads to smart TVs, without an Apple TV. The app will play media on a compatible smart TV (2015 Sharp, Sony, Vizio or Philips models), or through a Google Nexus Player. Users must download the app twice, once to their mobile device and once to the TV or Google player.
