JCDecaux posted FY16 Q3 adjusted group sales of €792.7 mn ($885.4 mn), up 3.8% from €764.0 mn ($849.6 mn) in FY15 Q3. The Q3 organic sale growth rate was 1.5%, in line with the company’s expectations. The growth reflected the good performance of the ‘Street Furniture’ segment and a positive growth in the billboard segment offset by a revenue decline in the transport segment. The digital sales, which currently constitute 12% of group sales, are expected to benefit from the ramp-up of the digitization of prime Street Furniture portfolio.
The adjusted sales for first nine months of FY16 amounted to €2,410.0 mn ($2,692 mn), up 8.4% from €2,223 mn ($2,472 mn) for same period in FY15. Citing high volatility in the company’s prime markets, the company forecasts negative sales growth of 2% in FY16 Q4.
