JCDecaux Loses New York Airport Contract

What They Say

JCDecaux has lost a long term contract to provide digital signage advertising at the four New York airports of JFK, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty and New York Stewart. The contract was won by ClearChannel who trumpeted the announcement in a press release.

What We Think

JCDecaux also put out a press release which pointed out that it had done a lot to respond to the pandemic, but would not enter a new contract that ‘would not make financial sense’. It’s a prestigious win for ClearChannel. (BR)
