JCDecaux and América Móvil form joint venture

JCDecaux has formed a joint venture with América Móvil to provide city furniture in Mexico and will hold 60% of the business.

“[The deal] will enable us to offer our clients a better geographical coverage, notably in Mexico City, in street furniture advertising and diversify our portfolio of assets with bridges and shopping malls,” Co-Chief Executive Jean-Charles Decaux said in a statement.

At the moment, the Rest of the World (not Europe or Asia) is just 12% of JCDeaux’s business and it is looking to increase that share.
