Sky and Disney have increased their investment in Jaunt VR, a cinematic virtual reality firm in the USA. Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 has also joined as an investor.
The new Series C funding, which was led by Disney, raises Jaunt’s total funding to more than $100 million. The company said that the capital will be used to scale up its VR production and advance its camera hardware and software production tools.
Sky and Jaunt have worked together since 2013. The latest $900,000 investment raises Sky’s total investment in the firm to $1.65 million.
