Apple has released a new version (12.6) of iTunes that allows access to movies that have been rented on iTunes on other devices (“Rent once, watch anywhere”), although implementation will need new versions of tvOS and iOS according to MacRumors. Previously, content was ‘checked out’ to a particular iPhone or other device and couldn’t be accessed on another device until it was checked in again.
