Another iPhone X hardware glitch has revealed itself in the past few days and has been titled the “Green Line of Death”.
The name pretty much says it all—users have reported a static vertical green line appearing on the smartphone’s OLED display. Some experiencing the issue have reported that the line appeared against the right-hand edge, while others found it appeared on the left side, further from the edge. There are a number of images at TechCrunch.
Resetting the phone didn’t fix the issue, with one user saying the Apple Store replaced their iPhone X free of charge.
Apple hadn’t responded to feedback regarding the fault at press time.
