IntoPix said that it has a new range of 8K TICO-XS IP-cores supporting the JPEG XS standard. The company says that it has a 32-line delay, end to end, and can provide up to 16:1 compression without artefacts and without external memory.
The core can support up to 8192×4320, 60fps, 120fps, 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and monochrome and the compressed stream will travel over 10GbE, 5GbE or even 2.5GbE networks.
