Intel’s Kirk Skaugen to Deliver Keynote at CES Asia 2016

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™, formerly the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, today announced that Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group for Intel Corporation, will deliver a keynote address at the upcoming CES Asia™ 2016.

Owned and produced by CTA, and co-produced by Intex Shanghai, CES Asia 2016 will run May 11-13 in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC).

Skaugen’s keynote will take place on May 11 at the Kerry Hotel, Shanghai Ballrooms 2-3. He will detail the Intel technology and products that serve as the catalyst to making amazing new experiences possible and highlight Intel’s work with leading companies in China to deliver solutions together that enable a smarter and more connected world.

Skaugen is responsible for the company’s client computing business and strategies across a range of devices, including phones, phablets, tablets, 2 in 1s, and PCs. Skaugen also leads a range of efforts to deliver new and exciting experiences that will simplify and personalize computing, including integrating ‘human senses’ into technology and eliminating both wires and passwords from all computing devices.

In addition to dynamic exhibits covering the entire tech ecosystem, CES Asia 2016 will feature a robust conference program showcasing more than 50 conference sessions and more than 100 speakers. The full lineup of CES Asia keynote speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Returning to Shanghai for its second year, CES Asia 2016 is expanding from two exhibit halls in 2015 to four with a show floor that will span 40,000 gross square meters (20,000 net square meters). The event will showcase top tech across thu themes of connectivity, innovation and the Internet of Things (IoT). Featuring more than 300 exhibiting companies, the entire global technology industry will be represented at CES Asia across 15 product categories from 3D printing and smart home to vehicle technology and wearables, as well as the latest innovation from budding entrepreneurs in Startup Park.
