Intel Mini-PC Details are Leaked

Website Myce.com has leaked details of Intel’s future Quark processor family – a step towards a smaller PC, like the Raspberry Pi. Two 289ets, Liffy Island and Seal Beach, are named in the leak.

According to the source, Liffy Island processors will have a single core without hyper-threading support. Clock speed will reach 533MHz, with a 64KB L1 cache, 1MB L3 cache and support for DDR3 and DDR3L memory. ECC memory is also supported. An 8-channel ADC controller and CAN bus ports will be featured, as well as integrated ethernet controllers with speeds of up to 1GB/s. The TDP will be 2W, with 1.5W versions being released later.

The Seal Beach 289 will have an integrated GPU and support the SSE2 instruction set. The memory controller supports 1,066MHz speed. The GPU will have MIDI DSI and LVDS interfaces, with support for MPEG2 video decoding. The ethernet controller will be 10/100, but most other hardware specifications will be the same. The major difference is that Seal Beach will officially support Windows.
