More news coming out of this week’s MIPCOM UHD trade fair in Cannes. Insight TV has announced two new distribution deals, with its range of Ultra HD and HDR content heading to both Amazon Channels and Samsung TV Plus in Europe.
Samsung TV Plus users in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain will be able to access a proportion of Insight TV’s UHD HDR content from early 2018, while Amazon Prime customers in the UK and Germany will also be able to enjoy the service, though a time frame hasn’t yet been mentioned.
Samsung TV Plus is adding three channels from the Insight TV range, covering sports, lifestyle and entertainment programming for no additional cost to existing users. Amazon has not stated how many Insight channels it will be providing, but did mention a “low monthly subscription fee”.
